Workings on Medium
Medium has the largest community for Tools for Thought, so...
I have been splitting my time between writing the 100% free Workings newsletter here on Substack, and interacting with the large community of researchers, creators, and avid users of tools for thought over at Medium.
So I am experimenting with the new Medium approach to newsletters, and I invite you to consider signing up there and participating in that community. It will remain free. I can’t import subscribers on Medium, so this will require action on your part.

I believe you’ll have to have a Medium account, but I bet most of you do.
You can also simply follow me on Medium, or bookmark the Workings publication. Over time I will be moving the Workings posts here to the new Medium publication.
Here are several of the recent posts there:
First Look: Polywork | A portfolio and stream-based alternative to LinkedIn.
How I Take Notes When Doing Research | Following a suggestion by Clive Thompson.
I hope you’ll make the switch, and we can have more of a community of participants, on top of having a newsletter, now to be called via Workings, finding its way to your inbox regularly.
